About us

Lakamari Kennels are located in the South East suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.

 

Dog showing/breeding has been in our blood for three generations with the fifth generation just starting out in junior handlers.

 

I started out at the tender age of 5 in a family which included Labradors, English Springer Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels and shetland sheepdogs.

 

After I married, we moved into German Shepherds and added a couple of Welsh Corgi Pembrokes to the mix.

 

The fourth generation includes Robyn (Edpra Knls) with her German Shorthaired Pointers, Kate with her  Long Coat German Shepherd, Anna with her staffordshire bull terriers and German Shepherd and Kim has taken over the German Shepherds. 

 

The fifth generation sees Nick, Alex and Ethan all competing in junior handlers and Joel and Gemma practising.
